  1. Hi Kim!
I love my cutting table. It is an old IKEA desk that I put up on bed risers so it is the perfect height for cutting and not bending over too far. hahaha. You know old backs!

  2. My favorite piece of equipment is by far my soft, plush, semi-drool stained, head stinky pillow. 3:45am is when I have my most noteworthy Eureka moments. The best and most creative ideas come to me when I'm half awake- and I always keep paper by my bed to jot these sometimes awesome (sometimes not so awesome) ideas down.

  3. My sewing table, for sure. It is where I spend most of my time. It's actually a beautiful old breakfast table that has followed me around for years, but it has drop sides that can come up to hold my mat on one side and a quilt on the other side (and my machine in the middle, of course) and I am very fond of it.

  5. i spend a lot of time standing up while working on my craft, so i would say my shoes are quite critical to my process. they certainly furnish my feet well. does that make them furniture?

  6. My sewing desk for sure. It's one of the classic solid-wood singer models from the 1940s and, since my mom refinished it for me, it's a real beauty. My cutting table gets a lot of use too, however...
